Home and Long Term Care

Teresa Armstrong has been an advocate and critic for Home Care, and Long Term Care over the span of serving as an MPP. The demand for long-term health care is growing, as the population of baby boomers continue to enter into their golden years. Seniors continue to be one of the fastest-growing demographics in Ontario. Teresa has continued to fight for people who have to wait in crowded hallways at hospitals to attend to their needs and seniors that are on long wait lists of thousands of people to get a bed. Seniors have to wait multiple years only to obtain a bed in long-term care. Insufficient funding within the health-care care system result in staffing shortages and not enough resources to meet people’s needs. Teresa will continue to fight for these fundamental human rights and bring change to an issue that needs it dearly.

If you would like to talk to Teresa about your experiences with health care, or any other provincial matter, please feel free to call, email, or reach out to our office to schedule a meeting.
